Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is believed to be keeping tabs on Borrussia Dortmund striker Alexander Frei.

It is believed that the South Coast club have had scouts keeping tabs in the 28 year old in recent weeks as Redknapp weighs up a summer bid.

Frei is just three goals away from being the all time top Swiss goalscorer, with 32 goals in 56 International appearances.
