Rumour: Man City chase Real striker

Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson could be set to splash the cash yet again with a move for out of favour Real Madrid striker Antonio Cassano.

Diariosport are reporting that representatives of the striker travelled to England yesterday to strike a deal that will take Cassano to the City of Manchester Stadium. The Italian international has a £2 million price tag on his head and will command £2.5 million per season in wages.

Eriksson has had a busy period since he took control at the Premiership side and it is showing no signs of slowing down.
