Rumour: Celtic set to sign American defender?

Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic look set to sign American defender Greg Dalby after the youngster had a successful trial yesterday.

Dalby is currently playing his trade with MLS side Colorado Rapids but looks set to make a move to the Scottish Champions. It is believed Werder Bremen , Red Bull Salzburg and Siena are also interested in signing the 6ft centre back but the player is believed to prefer a move to Scotland.

21 year old Dalby has had a glittering career so far picking up a host of awards in his short career in the states. He now looks set to move to Scotland so he can step up his game by playing Champions League football.
