Wembley not ready for Cup Final

Government Officials believe the new Wembley stadium will NOT be ready for this years FA Cup Final according to the News of the World.

It is believed that
government officials will not have enough time to carry out all the necessary safety checks in time for the May 19th Cup Final. This is the latest in a long line of setbacks for the Wembley stadium project that has cost a staggering £800 million.

Should the Stadium not be ready for May 19th, the final will be played at the Millennium Stadium with the match already pencilled in - just in case.

A Whitehall source confirmed: "Wembley will not be ready for the FA Cup final this year.

"Alternative arrangements are having to be made. The building work will be finished, but the critical issue is the safety certificates.

"The FA are going to have to announce it in the next couple of weeks. That will mean the Cup Final will be played in Cardiff again."
